Jenny Tagney – Consultant Editor
Jenny Tagney is a Cardiology Nurse Consultant at the Bristol Royal Infirmary. She is also a Visiting Fellow at the University of the West of England, Nurse Fellow of the European Society of Cardiology and is the current President of the British Association for Nursing in Cardiovascular Care (BANCC). In addition, Jenny is the BANCC representative on the Royal College of Nursing Cardiovascular Nurses forum steering group, a member of the British Association for Critical Care Nurses and peer reviewer for numerous other journals and book publishers.
Her key research interests include patient and family experiences of life with an implantable cardioverter defibrillator (ICD), nurses’ confidence and knowledge in caring for such groups, recovery, coping and adjustment following a myocardial infarction or ICD implant, chest pain assessment, nursing interventions with ICDs and heart failure patients.
Vicqui Stuart–Jones MA (Cantab) – Editor
Vicqui Stuart-Jones graduated from Cambridge University in 2000 with a degree in Chinese studies. Before becoming Editor of the British Journal of Cardiac Nursing in September 2007, she edited several business-to-business pharmaceutical titles.
